Ulla von Brandenburg at Le Plateau

Frac Ile-de-France/ Le Plateau is pleased to present Name or Number, a solo exhibition by Ulla von Brandenburg. Curated by Xavier Franceschi, the exhibition features key works such as Publikum (2005); Forest III (2008), and Curtain II (2008) alongside new works created on the occasion of the exhibition, most notably Singspiel: a 16mm black and white film shot in February 2009 at Le Corbusier's iconic Villa Savoye.  Filmed in a single, tracking shot, Singspiel continues von Brandenburg's exploration of the mechanics of theatre and the formal aspects of staging.
