Keren Cytter at the 53rd Venice Biennale
1 JunePilar Corrias Gallery is delighted to announce Keren Cytter's participation in the 53rd International Art Exhibition at the Venice Biennale. Directed by Daniel Birnbaum, 'Making Worlds' will feature Keren Cytter's latest film entitled Elise Valentin Wilhelmine (2009). Inspired by John Cassavetes' Opening Night (1977), the film questions constructions of identity, questioning our social relations to expose an all-pervasive performativity.
