Miquel Barceló at the United Nations

Miquel Barceló has completed a spectacular ceiling painting for the European headquarters of the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.

Renovated at the personal initiative of his Majesty King Juan Carlos I of Spain, Room XX is one of the largest conference rooms at the Palais des Nations. The unique ceiling painting will be unveiled on the occasion of the official inauguration of  The Chamber for Human Rights and for the Alliance of Civilisations by His Majesty KIng Juan Carlos I of Spain and the Secretary General on 18th November 2008.
