Overview
Ragna Bley debuts a newly commissioned large-scale work for When I’m in My Painting at Kistefos, through 11 October 2026
When I’m in My Painting brings together leading voices in contemporary abstraction to explore painting as both process and presence.
At the centre of the exhibition is a newly commissioned large-scale work by Ragna Bley (7 × 4 metres), in which colour unfolds as an immersive environment. The painting draws viewers into a shifting perceptual field, blurring distinctions between surface and space.
The exhibition is curated by Kate Smith-Raabe, Chief Curator at Kistefos.
